Using pasta sauce is a quick and flavourful twist on the classic French cassoulet that will please the whole family.

Healthy Harvest®Pasta Sauce Vegetable Medley


boneless, skinless chicken thighs


Italian sausages


onion, chopped


carrots, peeled and sliced


stalks celery, sliced


bay leaf

1 can (540 mL)

cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup (250 mL)


1/4 cup (60 mL)

finely chopped fresh parsley

1 pkg (340 g)

No Yolks Dumpling Egg Noodles, cooked and drained


  1. Cut each chicken thigh and sausage into 4 pieces. Place the meats, onion, carrot, celery and the bay leaf in the slow cooker. Stir in pasta sauce and beans.
  1. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours. Stir in the peas and parsley. Spoon over cooked egg noodles.
